Description
Product Overview
GYPFOR ACOUSTIC is a gypsum plasterboard designed for use in interior wall and ceiling systems requiring improved sound insulation. It features a non-combustible, dimensionally stable gypsum core and 100% recycled blue-coloured paper facings. The board provides enhanced acoustic performance and should not be used in applications exposed to temperatures exceeding 52°C for long periods or in areas with extreme humidity.

Applications / Typical Uses
Internal partitions and wall linings with acoustic insulation requirements. Suspended ceilings in residential, commercial, or institutional buildings. Upgrading or over-boarding existing wall linings to improve sound insulation. Note: Not suitable for use in wet areas or permanent high-humidity environments.
Installation & Handling
Store boards flat, dry, and protected from weather and moisture during storage and construction. Handle with care to avoid damage to edges and surfaces. Cut using standard plasterboard tools and fix using screws or adhesive systems to suitable framing. Joints should be taped and filled before decoration. Avoid installation in areas exposed to continuous high temperature (> 52°C) or moisture. Apply a gypsum board primer before painting or applying textured finishes.
Compliance & Certification
Manufactured in accordance with EN 520:2004 + A1:2009 (Type DI). Reaction to fire classification: A2-s1, d0. Thermal conductivity and density values tested per EN ISO 10456. Produced under strict quality control to ensure dimensional accuracy and performance consistency.
