Siniat GTEC dB Board 12.5 mm (Tapered Edge) (2400 mm × 1200 mm) is a high‑performance, dense gypsum board engineered specifically for use in areas where enhanced acoustic and fire‑rated performance is required. With its 12.5 mm thickness and large sheet size, it is ideal for internal wall partitions, ceiling linings and separating systems in residential and multi‑occupancy buildings.

Applications / Typical Uses

Installation & Handling
- Store boards flat on a dry, level surface, protected from moisture and damage prior to installation
- Handle with care to avoid damage to edges and faces
- Cut using the “score and snap” method — no power tools needed
- Fix with suitable screws (self‑tapping for thin gauge metal, self‑drilling for thicker gauge metal, high‑thread for timber) in accordance with Siniat recommendations
- Use Siniat approved jointing and finishing systems; prime joints and board faces with Siniat Jointing Systems and Sealer prior to decoration
Compliance & Certification
- Complies with BS EN 520:2004 + A1:2009 Type D & I
- Reaction to fire: Euroclass A2‑s1,d0
- Thermal conductivity: 0.25 W/mK (12.5 mm board)
