Tecsound S 100 (Self-Adhesive) Membrane is a premium viscoelastic acoustic membrane engineered to improve sound insulation and vibration damping across a wide range of building applications. Manufactured by SOPREMA, the membrane combines high density with exceptional flexibility, making it suitable for use on walls, ceilings, floors, metal structures and lightweight partition systems.
Its self-adhesive backing allows for fast and straightforward installation directly onto most construction surfaces, including plasterboard, timber, metal and composite panels. Designed to minimise airborne noise transmission and dampen structural vibrations, Tecsound SY100 is particularly effective when integrated into acoustic wall and ceiling systems or installed between layers of plasterboard.
The membrane is bitumen-free, resistant to mould, moisture and fungus, and maintains excellent performance over time. Its flexible composition enables easy adaptation around uneven surfaces and confined spaces, while delivering high acoustic efficiency without adding excessive thickness to the structure.
Tecsound S 100 is commonly specified in residential, commercial and industrial environments where enhanced acoustic comfort and vibration control are required, including partitions, ceilings, flooring systems, machinery enclosures and lightweight roofing constructions
